Keep Calm and Get Offended

Our Founding Fathers said some pretty radical things back in their day. Much of their rhetoric wouldn’t be appreciated by many people today.

But in the 18th century, they didn’t worry about being canceled or triggering young adults. Young adults gave their life instead of whining about hurt feelings.

Benjamin Franklin. John Dickenson. Thomas Paine.

These are just a few of the men that knew a secret, a secret we’ve long since forgotten.

If it's worth saying, it will offend someone.

Our Story

I sit on a public board, and we take turns selecting and reading a quote before our meetings. The quote chosen was from Benjamin Franklin. A founding father seemed like a safe choice, but guess again!

Some leftist organization sent a cease and desist order, trying to violate my first amendment rights. Cancel culture has gone too far when they try to cancel Ben Franklin, or any of our Founding Fathers for that matter.

So, in homage to my triggered community members, I am sending out all the offensive quotes I can find to anyone bold enough to listen.

If you believe in the First Amendment
